Description
The Custodial Person will keep buildings in clean and orderly condition, and perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, vacuuming rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. You will sanitize all restrooms, perform general cleaning of all public spaces, and detail clean on a monthly basis. Duties will include moving from one location to another and some light exterior cleaning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service, clean, or supply restrooms
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Gather and empty trash
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using proper tools
- Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Move furniture or supplies, manually for cleaning

Requirements
- Custodial experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Clean, professional appearance
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
