About WLIO:

Located in Lima, Ohio. We have all 4 major networks, NBC, CBS. ABC, & FOX under one roof. We are located in the midwest, having all 4 weather seasons for a person passionate about weather forecasting.

Job Summary/Description:

WLIO is looking for a weekend Meteorologist/Weekday Reporter needed to be a part of a 3-person weather team. The winning candidate will present the weather during our weekend 6 & 11pm newscasts on our NBC Station.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Live weather casts in our 6 & 11pm newscasts on weekends.

- Post weather casts on our website and Facebook page.

- 3 days during the week, winning candidate will be a one-person band, MMJ, shooting, writing and editing stories for our newscasts.

- We use ENPS and Adobe Premiere and shoot on Canon XA 50 cameras.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Meteorology based 4 year degree.

- Communications/Journalism minor is welcome.

- Taped reel of your on-air weather casts.
