Responsibilities:

Accepting written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy
Recording medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Delivering quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests, and referring them to the pharmacist for medical information
Verifying the accuracy of patient information
Counting prescription medication, filling prescriptions, and typing and attaching medication labels
Performing inventory audits and purchasing supplies and medication
Processing patient insurance
Must be trained to immunize

Pharmacy hours are:

Monday-Friday: 9am-7pm

Saturday: 9am-5pm

Sunday: Closed

Schedule:

This position will require a varied schedule of 5 shifts per week, including rotating Saturdays, totaling 40 hours per week. No Sundays or major holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician
Experience in a retail pharmacy setting, preferred
Must be trained to immunize, or willing to train within 90 days of hire
High school degree or GED required
The ability to use a computer for day-to-day tasks
Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
Must be able to pass a background check
