This position is local to Northwest Ohio and cannot be performed remotely.

GENERAL SUMMARY

To increase, promote and maintain membership by building relationships with members and potential

members to help them understand the value of membership.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

1. Execute the new member 24-month retention plan as well as the TRCC long-term retention plan. This will include a minimum number of outbound phone calls as described in the plan as well as coordinating/hosting member events designed to increase retention. Responsibility for analysis of the effectiveness of targeted retention efforts.

2. Utilize, become an expert, and be responsible for the maintenance and accuracy in the TRCC’s membership relationship management (MRM) database . Document all sales and retention efforts, analyze membership trends, and systematically plan and track member contacts.

3. Reliably execute all four components of the TRCC Membership department’s personal performance management system. This includes activity tracking, pipeline report, calendar time blocking, and next step entries and reminders.

4. Execute assigned sales strategies to assist in making sales goals, including non-solicited membership requests. Identify and upgrade memberships, when necessary.

5. Serve as the point of contact for potential, new and existing members regarding membership and membership benefit program.

6. Assist members in engaging in the TRCC’s marketing opportunities including social media, Member2Member offers, obtaining membership lists, fully completing their online membership listing, advertising, sponsoring etc.

7. Collaborate on communication with new and potential members through our website, events, and new membership packets.

8. Responsible for Aging follow-up for past due accounts.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

- Associate degree or 3 to 4 years in business related field.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management

- Customer Service Oriented

- Ability to work well with other people
