| Job Title: Seasonal Grounds Assistant Department: Facilities Reports to: Facilities Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Status: Seasonal/Temporary Season: May 01, 2026 through Fall/Winter 2026 Schedule: Flexible days and hours, up to 29 hours weekly. SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Seasonal Grounds Assistant is to help maintain the Toledo Museum of Art’s campus grounds in a condition of excellence, assisting the Facilities department with various grounds-keeping tasks involving the care and maintenance of turf and grounds. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES The Seasonal Grounds Assistant performs the following essential duties and ensures quality visitor experiences.

WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat.
