Job Description:
The University of Toledo Department of Theatre and Film seeks to hire a Lecturer in Technical Direction & Theatre Technology to begin August 2025. This is a 9-month teaching position with teaching and practical duties. Teaching duties: Theatre Technology I & II, Intro to Theatre, and courses in expertise areas. Must mentor students working on independent projects in theatre technology.

1) MFA or MA in Theatre with professional experience as a Technical Director & in Theatre and/or Entertainment
or
2) a Bachelor's degree in Theatre with at least five years of professional experience as a Technical Director or a similar level position in Theatre and/or Entertainment.
