Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at The University of Toledo seeks outstanding candidates for a full-time 12-month clinical faculty position (non-tenure) to serve as a clinical faculty member and the director of the Psychology Clinic. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and be license eligible in Ohio. Responsibilities include a balance of teaching, supervision, and administrative work, including serving as director of an operational psychology clinic housed within the Department of Psychology, providing clinical supervision/consultation for clinical psychology doctoral students, overseeing externship placements in the community, serving as instructor of record for clinical graduate courses, serving on graduate student research committees, and engaging in outreach to the university and surrounding community. Supervision of clinical work will include outpatient therapy (e.g., group, individual) and assessment (e.g., psychodiagnostics, cognitive). Opportunities for clinical research exist. Use of the clinic space and resources for private practice clients can be negotiated.
Previous clinical supervision experience is preferred.
