Job Description:
Responsible for the development of strength and conditioning programs for all student athletes on a year round basis. Programs designed and supervised must be instructed with safety and effectiveness as a fundamental principle. Facilities include the Larimer and Savage weight rooms. This leader is responsible for supervision and instruction to staff that assures safety and proper technique work while demonstrating professional conduct and behavior.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Three to five (3-5) years as collegiate strength and conditioning coach preferably at the Div I level.
Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association Certification.
Maintains certification in strength & conditioning.
Communication and other skills:
Regular communication with coaches, sports medicine staff.
Supervise and develop staff.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of training and lifting exercises per NCAA guidelines.
Adherence to NCAA , MAC and UT policies and regulations.
