Job Description:
The Women’s Golf Head Coach is responsible for the overall management of the Women’s Golf program. This position is responsible for all aspects of practice and competition preparation, recruitment of student athletes, and the comprehensive operation of the program with student athlete welfare as a guiding principle. Management of the program must adhere to all budgetary guidelines, as well as NCAA, Mid-American Conference (MAC) and University of Toledo policies. This position is expected to manage a team that is highly competitive within the MAC.
The Women’s Golf Head Coach is responsible for adhering to compliance, policies and procedures of the Athletic Department, University of Toledo, NCAA and MAC.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of successful collegiate golf coaching or equivalent experience required.
• Collegiate and/or professional playing experience required.
Communications and other skills:
• Ability to effectively communicate and counsel student-athletes on requirements for personal conduct, academic performance and athletic performance.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and ethical behavior.
• Ability to comply with all policies and regulations of the University, MAC and NCAA
