Job Description:

The Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Toledo invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning August 2024. This position entails teaching a wide variety of undergraduate courses and laboratories, creating innovative instructional materials and laboratory experiences, contributing to program assessment and accreditation activities, and advising students. This is a 9-month appointment with a teaching load of 12-15 credit hours per semester.

A letter expressing interest in the specific position, a curriculum vitae, available start date, a statement of teaching philosophy, and the names and contact information of at least three professional references, are required. Review of applications for the position will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering and a commitment to excellence in teaching and student success.
