Job Description:

This vital role provides management of key administrative operational support to the President and Chief of Staff/Secretary to the Board of Trustees. This role provides oversight for the daily operations of the office of the president ensuring critical priorities, initiatives and directives are implemented in a timely and effective manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an academic or healthcare environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years of administrative experience required, preferably in a highly complex, matrixed organization such as a college, medical school or research university.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong managerial ability.
• Ability to interact and influence at the most senior levels of an organization and to work collaboratively across functions, levels, and departments toward shared objectives.
• Ability to manage complex and/or highly confidential issues involving diverse constituents and stakeholders.
• Ability to cope with continuous change and pressures in a dynamic, highly demanding environment where expectations for performance and productivity are high.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to download and perform basic analysis of data from University of Toledo databases.
• Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to customer service and inclusive excellence.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization.
