General Summary
Provides ultrasound diagnostic testing.
Works under the supervision of the Lead Ultrasound Technologist.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
- Performs ultrasounds diagnostic procedures.
- Writes technical impressions.
- Ensures machinery is operating properly.
- Maintains necessary inventory.
- Positions patients for procedure.
Other Essential Duties May Include but Are Not Limited To
- Prepares patients for physician (vitals, asst. with exams, etc.)
- Schedules procedures and educate patients.
- May require occasional travel to other TTC radiology locations.
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Required:
- Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire.
- Completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and OSHA regulations.
- Must be a registered Ultrasound Technologist or Registry eligible
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
- BLS/CPR Certified
Education:
- Radiologic Technology Graduate required.
- Registry Eligible (must pass registry within 1 year of employment)
Preferred:
- Six months previous experience.
- Flexible availability
