Supervisory Responsibilities
All radiology services leads and staff.
General Summary
Oversees all aspects of radiology services. Provides guidance and leadership to the clinic and strives to maintain an excellent public image of the Toledo Clinic.
Works under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations across modalities (Examples: X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, nuclear medicine), ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Staff Management: Lead hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes for radiology staff.
- Equipment Oversight: Coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, service contracts, and procurement of radiology equipment
- Quality & Compliance: Implement and monitor quality assurance, radiation safety, and accreditation efforts to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., ACR, ODH)
- Financial Management: Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets; monitor expenditures and pursue cost-efficiencies.
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with Administration leadership and cross-functional teams on service-line strategy, process improvement, and technology integration
- Customer Relations: Address patient inquiries or complaints, liaise with physicians, participate in community or board meetings, and promote the department's image.
- Marketing: In conjunction with the Director of Marketing, develops marking initiatives to promote the service line.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Financial oversight of the coding, charge entry and the billing workflows of the department.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Required:
- Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire.
- Completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Adheres to and upholds all clinic policies and procedures.
- Five years of leadership experience in a clinical setting required.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
Preferred:
- Business Administration degree a plus, Master’s Degree preferred.
- 5 years of business management experience in a radiology service line.
