The Toledo Clinic is seeking a full-time EKG/Stress Tech to provide support in our Cardiology Department located on our main campus (4235 Secor Rd, Toledo). This position will work Mon - Fri from 8:00 - 5:00. This is a full-time position offering employee benefits and there are no weekends or holidays.
General Summary:
Performs EKGs
Performs Cardiac Stress Tests
Works under the supervision of the Office Manager
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Example of Essential Duties:
- Performs EKGs and interprets readings.
- Preps treadmill stress patients and assists physician with functions related to stress testing according to department policy/procedure.
- Applies event monitor recorder and holter monitor recorder.
- Performs office duties/other paperwork to ensure efficient operation of the department.
- Prepares charts and charge tickets for billing. Reviews final reports before sending to referring physician and filing into Clinic chart. Files copy of report in Cardiology Department file room.
- Informs Manager of equipment malfunctions.
- Maintains proper care of equipment between preventative maintenance checks. Keeps exam rooms stocked with supplies and clean laundry.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required:
- Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
- Adheres to all Toledo Clinic policies and procedures.
Education:
HS diploma or degree required.
Preferred:
- Technical/practical experience in EKG testing preferred
- Certified Cardiographic Technician preferred.
- MA diploma with EKG training.
- EMT Certification
