Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for an Environmental Scientist I to assist with our projects in Waynesburg PA!

Key Responsibilities

This is an entry level position consisting predominately of the following tasks:
  • Field data collection and processing.
  • Quality control, organization, and analysis of these data.
  • Position requires significant outdoor work in all manner of weather.
  • Weekend and occasional holiday work required based upon project needs.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Experience with the following is preferred:
  • Field data collection, documentation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Map reading, GPS, navigation, and GIS data collection and processing.
  • Aquatic sampling procedures including stream velocity measurement, benthic macroinvertebrate sampling, and wetland delineation.
The successful candidate will possess a strong preference for working in an outdoor setting regardless of the weather conditions.
