The Government Project Manager for Space Launch Delta 45 (SLD 45) is responsible for managing a wide range of defense-related infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating with military personnel, defense contractors, and various government agencies to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with military standards and security protocols. The Government Project Manager must navigate the challenges and complexities of defense projects, which often involve advanced technology, sensitive information, and security implications.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

What you'll need

  • 4-year Engineering degree or comparable experience
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • This is a contract specific position on the SpacePort Architecture and Civil Engineering contract with Space Launch Delta 45
  • This is an on-site position at Cape Canaveral SFS working closely with SLD 45 personnel
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for secret level security clearance are required.
