Naik Consulting Group is currently seeking a Project Controls Manager. The Project Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting functions across multiple construction and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project controls, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating project risks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of project control systems (schedule, cost, risk, and reporting).
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
  • Monitor project budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment of cost and schedule.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and other performance measurement techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and client contract requirements.
  • Support claims and change management processes through proper documentation and analysis.
  • Train and mentor junior project controls staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project controls within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Experience with large infrastructure project scheduling with quantitative and qualitative risk analysis.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred) and cost management tools.
  • Proficiency with resource and cost loading, schedule risk analysis, and delay impact analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • AACE Certified Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) or equivalent designation preferred.
