As an Entry Level Marketing Coordinator I at DRMP, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the pursuit development process. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Adapts to entry level role in the coordination and management of pursuit development activities from initiation to submission.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with internal and external teams including engineers, designers, and project managers to gather necessary information for pursuits with guidance.
  • Research and gather information about potential clients, projects, and competitors to tailor proposals effectively.
  • Create compelling narratives and edit pursuit content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with client requirements and company standards with guidance.
  • Create and edit simple graphics to enhance pursuits with guidance.
  • Collaborate with graphic design staff to plan/produce more complex graphics.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of pursuit templates, boilerplate content, and graphics.
  • Perform quality control on own pursuits for accuracy, completeness, formatting, and compliance with RFP (Request for Proposal) requirements and ensures alignment with company's brand identity and messaging.
  • Take responsibility for tracking progress of assigned opportunities in Deltek Vision and designated project management software.
  • Ensure closeout activities for completed pursuits are carried out accurately and timely.
  • Assist with project research such as competition analysis, industry trends, etc.
  • Attend pre-proposal, selection committee and/or debriefing meetings when necessary.
  • Assist with other proposal-related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in supporting team goals.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, English and/or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to collaborate with a range of professionals including VPs, clients, teaming partners and peers.
  • Ability to assess problems and implement solutions.
  • Ability to manage competing and changing priorities and perform multiple tasks within compressed timelines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities maintaining a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat preferred.
  • Prior experience or internships in proposal development, marketing, or AEC industry is a plus but not required.
