Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Assisting civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
  • Design Development: Lead review of designs for infrastructure projects, including site grading, stormwater management, transportation systems, and utility layouts, using industry-standard software.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Prepare and submit permitting documentation to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Client and Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and addressing project requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from accredited institution.
  • Professional Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design tools. Experience with hydrology, structural analysis, or transportation modeling is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in civil engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Soft Skills: Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and client-focused environment.
