Welder/Fabricator

(This is a custom fabrication shop making everything from structural steel to furnaces)

Pay: $18–$23 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
Full-Time | Overtime Available
3 years of professional welding/fabrication experience preferred

• 3 years of professional welding and fabrication experience
• MIG welding, stainless steel, tack welding, cutting torch, and plasma cutter work
• Read blueprints and a tape measure
• Fabricate parts and assemblies to specifications.
• Be able to Pass Background check and Drug Screen
• Must have your own welding helmet, gloves etc.

Seeking experienced Fabricators to join our team. This position involves hands-on fabrication from start to finish, working on a wide variety of custom metal projects, no jigs are used, you work from blueprints.

What You'll Do

You will work on a variety of fabrication projects, including:

• Sheet metal work
• Machine bases
• Duct work
• Frameworks
• Structural fabrication
• Conveyor systems
• Furnace construction
• Stainless steel and aluminum fabrication

The job involves layout, measuring, cutting, fitting, tack welding, and fabricating projects from start to finish. Attention to detail and accuracy are very important.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional welding/fabrication experience
• MIG welding experience
• Stainless steel welding experience
• Tack welding experience
• Experience using a cutting torch and plasma cutter
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to fabricate projects from start to finish

Hiring Process

Candidates should be prepared to complete a hands-on weld test and tape measure test as part of the hiring process.
