Vehicle Lot Driver

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable Vehicle Lot Drivers to safely move vehicles between designated lots. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, and a commitment to safety. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and accurately inspect vehicles for damage before moving each vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive vehicles between assigned lots while following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform pre-move inspections and document any existing vehicle damage before transporting vehicles.
• Follow written instructions to locate, check out, and deliver vehicles to the correct lot.
• Park vehicles precisely, ensuring the driver's side front and rear wheels are aligned with designated parking lines.
• Accurately record required vehicle information.
• Ride in a company shuttle/van back to the starting lot to continue moving vehicles throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all driver safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and must be brought to every shift.
• Ability to pass a Driver Safety Test.
• Ability to read, write, and follow simple written instructions.
• Comfortable driving a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Experience driving a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to repeatedly enter and exit vehicles throughout the shift.
• Ability to walk between vehicles and parking areas.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.

Work Environment

This position is performed primarily outdoors in a vehicle storage lot. Employees should be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Transportation between lots is provided by a company shuttle, allowing drivers to continuously move vehicles throughout their shift.
