Now Hiring: Production Operators – Printing & Finishing
Seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join a fast-paced production team in the label and packaging industry. We are currently hiring for multiple roles, including Printer and Finishing Operator.
Printing Operator
Printing Operators are responsible for setting up and operating flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality labels.
Responsibilities include:
- Read and understand production orders.
- Set up and operate flexographic printing equipment.
- Monitor print quality, color accuracy, and troubleshoot equipment or print issues.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Record production information accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Finishing Operator
Finishing Operators prepare printed labels for shipment by operating rewinding and finishing equipment while ensuring quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
- Review work orders and verify finished labels meet customer specifications.
- Inspect labels for print quality, color accuracy, small details, and defects.
- Operate rewinding, slitting, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Communicate production issues to supervisors and support overall quality standards.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous printing or manufacturing experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to accurately read a ruler (including fine measurements).
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to pass background check & drug screen
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 75 pounds depending on the role).
- Good manual dexterity and visual acuity to inspect product quality.
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
