Shipping & Receiving Associate
Must have 1-2 years experience with shipping software. This position involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory organization, forklift operation, and assisting with assembly projects in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pull skids and shipments from trucks
- Use FedEx, UPS WorldShip, and M1 database for shipping operations
- Count and verify incoming parts and shipments for accuracy
- Prioritize receiving packages as instructed
- Create receipts in M1 and follow attached order memos
- Label and stock parts into bins and shelves accurately
- Assist with maintaining organized inventory
- Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Scan packing slips into network folders
- Package, label, and ship orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked shipping area
- Notify Purchasing when packaging materials are running low
- Ensure shipments follow M1 order instructions and shipment methods
- Process credit cards, invoices, return labels, and packing documents
- Assist with assembly projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Shipping and receiving experience required
- Must pass Background check and Drug Screening
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable lifting, moving materials, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse software systems
