Grain Facility Cleaning & General Labor (1st Shift-Part Time Only)

Location: Toledo, OH 43615
Pay: $15/hour
Shift: 1st Shift flex (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Part Time: Can be 2 or 3 days per week
Start Date: As early as next week

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team at a grain elevator facility. This role involves cleaning grain bins and performing general housekeeping duties in a physically active, industrial environment. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals looking for steady work and potential growth with an established industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean grain bins (tasks may range from a few minutes to several hours)
• Sweep and shovel grain and debris
• Perform continuous, heavy manual labor throughout the shift
• Lift and carry 50–75 lbs repeatedly for extended periods
• Handle frequent, repetitive lifting of 50+ lbs
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks

Work Environment

• Dusty, dirty, and industrial setting
• Physically demanding work (standing, lifting, bending)
• Indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions

Requirements

• Comfortable working in dusty environments (not suitable for those with Athsma/respiratory conditions or Hayfever/allergies)
• Must Pass Background Check and Drug Screening
• Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, sweeping, and shoveling
• Reliable with strong attendance
• Motivated, hardworking, and safety-conscious
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PPE & Dress Code

• Provided: Hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, dust masks
• Required: Steel-toe work boots
