CNC Machinist – Programmer (Mazak / Haas)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with extensive experience with Mazak. This is a role for a very experienced CNC machinist who can independently set up, program, and run jobs from print to completion with no supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently program, set up, and operate CNC machines
- Perform full setups including tooling installation, material loading, and offset adjustments
- Program and operate Mazak lathes (Mazatrol and/or G-code)
- Program Haas mills using G-code and/or CAM software such as Mastercam
- Verify dimensions and ensure part quality using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize programs for efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of CNC machining experience
- Proven ability to independently set up and program CNC equipment (highest skill level)
- Experience with Mazak lathes and Haas Automation mills
- Proficiency in Mastercam and Mazak (Mazatrol) programming
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Must have own basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Qualifications:
- Capable of working independently with no supervision
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take a job from print to finished part
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass strict background screening
- Must pass drug screening
