Job Summary
Supplemental Staffing is currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Car Porters for location in the Toledo area.
As a Car Porter, you will be responsible for moving vehicles across various lots, ensuring the safety of each car, and following protocols to maintain a smooth workflow. A valid driver’s license and an eye for detail are essential for this role.
Shift Options
- 1st Shift (7:00a-3:30p) $14.00
- 2nd shift (5:00p-1:30a) $15.50
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Movement: Safely drive vehicles between lots, ensuring each vehicle is checked for any damage before and after movement.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines provided through training to ensure the safe operation of vehicles.
- Parking: Park vehicles efficiently, aligning the front and rear driver-side wheels with the marked lines of the parking lot.
- Documentation: Accurately follow written and verbal instructions to check out cars and document specific details, such as condition and lot assignments.
- Transportation: After completing your rounds, use company-provided transportation to return to the starting location.
- Weather Adaptability: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Driving record no more that 3 moving violations in the past 36 months
- Must be able to pass a Drug screen
- Background check required (No Felonies)
Preferred Qualifications (but not required)
- Experience with driving stick shift vehicles.
