CNC Machinist
Location: Wauseon, OH
Hours: Monday- Friday 6am-2pm
Pay: $18-25/ hour with weekly pay
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the use of various measurement tools. The CNC Machinist will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues related to electrical discharge machining, tooling, or machine operation.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Operating Fusion 360 and Hass and Hardinge Mills
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with Mills and Lathe
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes.
- Ability to pass a background check and Drug screening
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Experience with SolidWorks or CAD software for part design or modification is desirable but not required
