Electrician
Hours: 6am to 4:30pm Mon-Fri
Pay: $20.00 to $30.00 depending on experience
The position is responsible for:
Wiring electrical systems on machines
Their duties include:
Communicating with clients to establish job details
Reviewing electrical blueprints to identify wiring circuits and coordinating with team members to install
Use hand and power tools
Upgrading machines with old control systems up to the new machine specifications and calibrating machine at customer facilities
Expected to have a professional demeanor and good communication skills
Requires approx. 20-30% travel, of typically short durations of 1 day to 1-2 weeks
Essential Functions:
Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers
Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams
Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems
Adhere to state and local building regulations and follow safety procedures
Create records of materials used
Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting computer jacks and plugs
Installs, repairs and maintains the electrical parts of the industrial equipment
Works individually or part of the team to successfully complete projects
Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagram
Understanding of machine control hardware, as well as pneumatics, is a plus
