A company in Waterville is looking to fill a plastic extrusion machine operating position. This is a 2nd shift 2:45P-11:15P Monday- Friday starting at $18.75/hr. This position requires at least 2 years manufacturing experience, lifting up to 50lbs, passing a ruler/math test, using stairs/ladders on a regular basis, and reliable transportation to Waterville. Responsibilities of employees will include putting buckets of plastic pellets into the machine and visually inspecting/measuring the strips as they come out the other end. Cleaning off tubing as well as blowing off excess material. Will be using calipers and using a tape measure up to 1/16th of an inch. Will be required to record quantities every 30 mins. Log parts/numbers. May be operating 2 machines at once so must be okay with working at a steady pace. Packing boxes for shipment. Using hand tools to attach boards to pallets. Background requirements include a background check with no felonies and a clear 10-panel drug screen.
