Hours: Train on 1st shift Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm for a few months
3rd shift: Sunday- Thursday 8:30pm-7am
Starting pay:
$18.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
Review routing and set up specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence and dimensions. Interpret blueprints and other specifications to determine product requirements
Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools.
Selects fixtures, part holding, and tooling to machine parts as necessary.
Adjust CNC machine speeds and feeds and change the tooling to machine parts according to specifications
Confirms conformance of finished work to specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and Go/No Go tools.
Identifies workmanship and material defects and deficiencies and initiates program changes when required.
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) according to blueprints and work instructions
Load raw materials into machines and monitor machining operations
Job requirements:
Must be able to pass a drug screen
Must be able to pass a background check - No felonies
Basic math and computing knowledge
Familiar with general safety procedures
2+ years of hands-on CNC Machining
