Supplemental Staffing is looking for Supervisors

for an automotive company in Toledo, Ohio.

Hours:

-1st shift: Monday-Saturday 5am-3pm, Sundays if necessary

  • With flexibility (10-12 HOUR SHIFT IF NECESSARY)
  • -2nd shift: Monday-Saturday 430pm-230am, Sundays if necessary
  • With flexibility (10-12 HOUR SHIFT IF NECESSARY)
  • 2nd shift will train on 1st shift for 1 week prior to starting 2nd shift.

Pay: $20-$21/hr. depending on prior experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • -The candidates must have prior supervisory skills and experience.
    • -3 years of supervisory experience preferred
    • -Prior experience in an automotive related manufacturing facility preferred
  • -VDL and own reliable transportation
  • -High School diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • -Ability to work on 2nd shift, to work overtime, or weekends if needed
  • -Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift to 35lbs, and work within a manufacturing environment
  • -Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
  • -Basic math skills required
  • -Ability to follow instructions and follow through with assigned tasks
  • -Ability to communicate procedures and instruct others in a clear and precise manner
  • -Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Forklift experience is a plus

Key responsibilities, but are not limited to, the following:

  • -Supervisor/Team Leads are responsible for overseeing multiple sorting, inspection, and rework jobs within manufacturing facilities.
  • -Oversee the containment process, responsible for the laborers and the inspection of customer products for the assigned tables or workstations
  • -Must lead by example, be organized, and practice good housekeeping skills in all areas of the facility
  • -Ensure all employees work safely and in accordance with company health and safety policies and procedures
  • -Report any accidents or incidents that occur within the facility immediately to the Manager
  • -Responsible for the coordination of shift start activities prior to start time (table requirements, paperwork, etc.)
  • -Ensure end of shift activities are completed such as auditing of paperwork and time sheets along with any necessary communication to the next shift Team Lead
  • -Ensure appropriate tools and materials are available for completion of jobs
  • -Provide on-the-job training for any new work instructions when applicable
  • -Must be accountable for all personnel assigned to specific jobs
  • -Provide input to Manager regarding performance
  • -Report any policy or procedure violations to the Manager
  • -Participate, support, and comply with all health and safety initiatives and requirements
