Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in maintaining an organized work environment, managing financial records, and supporting the overall administrative functions of the organization.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Utilize financial software for tracking expenses, budgeting, and reporting purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all accounting practices.
  • Assist in governmental accounting tasks as required by regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and reports.
  • Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall office efficiency.
  • Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
  • Experience with financial software such as Quicken or similar applications.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles including accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and bank reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in an office management or similar role is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required)
