Overview

SSOE is hiring for a dynamic Senior Manager, Learning & Development for our Atlanta, Nashville, Toledo or Hillsboro (Oregon) location. In this exciting and rewarding role, you will be a part of our growing Global HR team, in its journey to be built in the best way to support SSOE growth of the business and the company as it global scales. This will be a hands-on role, focused on designing, building and executing learning solutions for all global SSOE talent. Our Learning & Development Senior Manager will work directly with SSOE HR Business Partners/Manager and Operations leaders at all levels to assure a high understanding of the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

Addressing the challenging needs of the business with creativity, growth mindset, proactive listening and excellent communication and collaboration skills are critical in this role. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, execute training programs to address a variety of talent development needs globally across the organization-leadership development, HR processes enablement and implementation (performance management, onboarding, etc.), soft skills and career paths.
  • Partner with the business, at all levels, to build together learning solutions which are accurate to the field needs and can scale and flex with the organization as it grows.
  • Content creation customized to SSOE culture and specific needs and processes.
  • Facilitation of workshops, offsites sessions, and other learning forums-facilitation could be both virtual and in-person.
  • Ongoing management of the LMS, assuring content relevance and effective use of learning consumption.
  • Ongoing measurement of learning effectiveness to always assure we deliver the best learning solution.
  • This position is primarily office-based but may require travel to various company locations for training delivery.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

  • +10 years of experience in talent development and learning roles in global companies.
  • Proficient knowledge and a truly hands-on approach: content creation, learning sessions facilitation, different learning methods, design of organizational development processes, etc.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, experience in using data to measure learning.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing leadership development programs.
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Proven experience in a highly strategic Talent & Development role with solid capabilities in identifying and developing an effective L&D team.
  • Collaborator and a team player - an inclusive and global mindset and ability to build great relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication together with listening & influencing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Extraordinary desire to provide a high level of excellence at every opportunity and to perform within a highly strategic and best-in-class level.
  • B.S.. / B.A. degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or related field

What We Bring:

  • Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
  • In addition to our competitive and market-driven data compensation ranges, this role includes eligibility for our annual, target bonus / incentive program. Our target bonus program is based on company and individual performance and goals.
