Lockbox/Teller Coordinator
Summary/Objective
Process all lockbox transactions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures. Complete all End-of-day checklists to ensure all work is properly processed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1.
Verify all mail to ensure it belongs to the proper P.O. box/client.
2.
Process each paper lockbox according to client instructions.
•
Prepare paper lockbox deposits for proof processing using a lister program.
•
Perform dual verifications of all work before sending them to proof area to ensure no deposit items were missing and all checks are payable to proper client.
•
Prepare e-mail to clients requiring lockbox deposit total reporting.
•
Log the volume of all checks copied and return items for account analysis at month end.
•
Collate copies of checks with appropriate voucher or EOB according to client instructions.
•
Bundle all work together and place in courier bag for double verification process.
3.
Assist with the processing and balancing of image lockbox accounts.
•
Prepare packet of work to be scanned
•
Scan documents through the tabletop scanner.
•
Enter all information requested by client such as invoice numbers and names of payables.
•
Data entry of all items that could not be read through the scanning process.
•
Balance any out of balance transactions.
•
Verify all files are accurate before sending them to the client.
4.
Assist in various double verification processes that occur within the lockbox processing area.
5.
Assist with various end-of-day duties within the department.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This position uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, fax machines and filing cabinets on a daily basis.
Physical Demands
Most of this position’s responsibilities and duties are performed sitting or standing at a workstation. Some filing and storage duties are required by this position. The ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend or stand on a stool, as well as loading and carrying boxes is a necessary ability. This position may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is classified as non-exempt by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Typical hours will be Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Additional hours may be required.
Required Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education & Experience
1.
One to two years of banking experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Pre-employment screening required including employment reference, criminal background check, credit check and possibly skills testing. This position is regularly exposed to sensitive information, trade secrets or proprietary information and the incumbent is required to keep any such information strictly confidential.
