Credit Analyst
Summary/Objective
Prepare required review of financial data and prepare clear, detailed and objective reports in keeping with the responsibilities listed below.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Spread financial statements into our financial analyst software.
2. Analyze credit requests and assign appropriate risk ratings in accordance with loan policy.
3. Perform annual loan reviews on all commercial credits in accordance with loan policy.
4. Perform asset quality reviews as assigned.
5. Maintain logs on interim financial statement tracking, borrowing base reports and loan covenant requirements.
6. Perform reviews on other financial institutions approved for Fed Funds sold.
7. Perform review on key suppliers.
8. Order and review credit reports.
9. Determine relationship exposure for approval levels as part of credit request process.
10. Perform industry reviews including commercial real estate, manufacturing, automotive and healthcare.
11. Perform analysis and prepare consumer credit reviews.
12. Assist in the maintenance of credit file.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This position uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, fax machines and filing cabinets on a daily basis.
Physical Demands
Most of this position’s responsibilities and duties are performed sitting or standing at a workstation. Some filing and storage duties are required by this position. The ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend or stand on a stool, as well as loading and carrying boxes is a necessary ability. This position may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is classified as non-exempt by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Typical hours will be Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Additional hours may be required.
Required Education & Experience
1. Four-year degree in Business; minimum GPA 3.5
2. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs
Preferred Education & Experience
1. Four-year degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
