Shumaker is seeking an experienced litigation associate to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of commercial litigation experience and be able to work independently on business disputes, including contract, insurance coverage, real estate, franchise, and regulatory cases. The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, be able to draft pleadings and motions, and feel confident going to both state and federal court, working solo or as a team on complex cases.

This attorney will work in our Toledo, Ohio office as part of our Litigation & Disputes service line.

Education, Experience and Skills Required
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Active Ohio bar license
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial litigation experience
