The Payroll Administrator will be proficient in all tasks necessary to process weekly union/office in house payroll accurately and timely.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete daily and weekly time and verify data for accuracy
• Process and review weekly in house payroll
• Process layoff checks as needed
• Set up new hires and new unions in accounting software
• Assist with required reporting to various unions and taxing entities
• Balance payroll and union reports to the general ledger
• Complete federal, state, and local tax reports and process payments
• Respond to associate inquiries related to payroll

SKILLS

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with a wide range of personnel, both internal and external
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger set up in payroll records
• Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Must have strong computer skills with 10 key accuracies
• Must have good time management skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of eCMS/payroll processing experience
• A minimum of a high school diploma is required, a business degree is desired
• Construction industry experience with in depth knowledge of unions
