This role is responsible for measuring, evaluating, creating, and implementing key aspects of the Owens Corning Global Behavioral Health Program. This program is defined in the industry as a hybrid program with internal management and services delivered by a vendor. This program is embedded into the Healthy Living Wellness Program which is seamlessly integrated with the enterprise health strategies. This role collaborates closely with the occupational health nurses and each plant’s wellness team to drive short- and long-term goals to promote a healthy workforce. A workplace free of the influence of drug and alcohol is an essential component to health, safety, and productivity. This role will also work with other corporate services (i.e., Benefits, Medical, Wellness, I&D, HR, Safety, TPM, Legal, Disability, Operations, Security, and Unions).

Key Responsibilities

CORPORATE HEALTH SERVICE – Global | 30%

- Oversee administration of key corporate employee exposure and surveillance programs, testing services including substance abuse, medical software/system compliance, maintenance of corporate website, medical record keeping function, as well as collection and compilation of all other company required measurements. | Global
- Participate in Healthy Living wellness initiatives
  - Virgin Pulse programs
  - Biometric screening events
  - Aspiration team member
  - Champion support and training
  - Wellness Master-planning committee member
  - Wellness Award promotion
- Provide risk management training such as Substance Use Policy, non-harassment, stress management, sustainability, and wellness
- Participates in all off-site company health conferences/meetings as sponsored and directed by Enterprise Health & Medical (EHM) for the advancement and training of internal clinical personnel.

SUBSTANCE USE POLICY AND PROCESS – US, Canada, Mexico | 25%

- Administration and consultation with leaders on policies and procedures during complex employee situations and providing training to new HR partners, all people leaders, all employees (some of these trainings are on Talent Center / Learning).
- Manage key aspects of the Substance Use Policy
- Provide input into the myOC site and contents which holds all documents related to this policy.
- Oversee the follow-up monitoring activities for employees who have violated the Substance Use Policy.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH – Domestic and Global | 45%

- Participate in the management of the day to day activities of the behavioral health program to ensure consistency in services across business units and to ensure the best possible outcomes for all who use one of the five core benefits within the behavioral health program.
- Assist in leading a dedicated team at Aetna, this role will provide key information about culture, policies, and practice of OC – and in many cases down to the nuances of each location.
- Manage all aspects of the global behavioral health vendor – Aetna Health Options.
- Clinical management of the EAP Navigator program expanding to all global sites
- Accountability for the promotional material to drive down stigma associated with mental health and substance use treatment and increase program utilization.
- Accountable for Aetna training programs, responsible for delivery of service to employees globally by partnering with Aetna, navigating concerns of employees and referrals to Aetna professionals are made based on these concerns
- Participate in the Employee Assistance Roundtable in order to stay in touch with those who lead international [internal and embedded] employee assistance programs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Master’s or PhD degree in a Human Service Discipline
Clinical License at the independent level
Preferred Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP)
Preferred licensed, or certified substance abuse professional credential
Preferred Substance Abuse Professional (SAP qualified under DOT 49 CFR Part 40)

EXPERIENCE:

At least 5-7 years’ experience in behavioral health, EAP, substance abuse and other related activities.
Remains current and informed on regulatory issues affecting the delivery of behavioral health and substance abuse issues.
Obtains necessary continuing education credit hours and training as required by state and national licensing and certifying agencies.
Experience working with behavioral health in a worksite

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Individual must be highly motivated, self-directed with the ability to work independently and have strong interpersonal, communication and computer skills. Understanding of technological and data security and risk management policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly. Ability to work well with and engage a remote team. Strong team player and able to effectively collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.
