PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Inside Sales Representative for Foam will be responsible for delivering a sales plan across the Foam business. This position is accountable to drive profitable sales growth for our customers and Owens Corning by providing customer inspired solutions while executing on Owens Corning sales and marketing initiatives for the Foam business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and develop customer relationships

  • Build/maintain relationships with customers
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency
  • Educate customers on products & services
  • Maintaining customer contact list and market intelligent data

Know our customers

  • Understands customer dynamics and can navigate through various scenarios
  • Take appropriate action to meet customer needs
  • Develop a partnering relationship with team members, customers and influencers
  • Recognize opportunities and create win/win solutions to drive sales plan metrics
  • Attend customer/industry events or shows

Market and customer analysis

  • Provide customer pricing/job quotes
  • Analyze market pricing and competitive scenarios
  • Utilize sales reporting tools to identify customer opportunities and track performance
  • Participate in business initiatives
  • Gather & distribute competitive market intelligence

Know our products

  • Understands Owens Corning product offerings
  • Identifies and communicates competitive threats
  • Ability to communicate and sell value through differentiation
  • Demonstrates a knowledge of the building materials industry that can be leveraged across business units

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, engineering, or construction management
  • Direct sales experience of 3 - 5 years preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of the building materials industry and insulation preferred
  • Previous selling experience in a business-to-business environment
