Direct care and supervision of children ages 18 months-11 years of age.
Duties to include: lesson planning, screening, assessment, documentation of learning, daily communication with parents, staff and supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of ODFJS licensing rules; SUTO rules; a strong foundation in child development
Verbal and written speaking skills; basic computer skills; digital camera skills; table skills.
Ability to multi-task, make decisions quickly and under pressure, collaborate effectively with other teaching staff and manager.
Attention to detail; positive attitude; punctual; reliable; strong commitment to the field of ECE

Minimum Education/Experience:

Associate degree or two-year technical certificate
2 years of experience working with children ages 18 months-11 years in a group setting.
Ability to pass both BCI and FBI background check as well as an "approved to work" status on JFS form 01176 per ODJFS childcare licensing rules.
