Summary:
Theater Assistant will assist with the daily operations of the CFPA Mainstage Theater, working with the Technical Director and the CFPA Manager. Daily operations include representing the theater during events, greet visitors and performers, assist with the installation and reset of theater sets and events, maintain a mailing list, record guest attendance, help with advertising, social media, and outreach.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good time management skills and understanding of deadlines
- Must demonstrate proven ability to display creativity, initiative, good judgment, and ability to make decisions independently
- Able to demonstrate written and verbal communication skills
- Work well with other student employees, staff, and various classes
- Light carpentry skills
- Basic theater maintenance and cleaning
- Networking with performers
- Experience with maintaining social media platforms
- Ability to think outside the box with a creative imagination
Essential Functions:

Other Characteristics:
Has the ability to lift 20-30lbs for theater equipment or materials.
Minimum Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
