Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistant students at clinical sites and monitors progress to facilitate the assessment of student performance. Works with the Occupational Therapy Assistant program Academic Fieldwork Coordinator to provide guidance and support at assigned clinical site.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Candidate must have a working knowledge of assigned clinical practice setting including administrative safeguards, laws and procedures.
Candidate must demonstrate OTA skills and competencies related to treatment intervention, documentation, time management, supervision, clinical reasoning, and professional development.
Candidate must be a motivated, energetic, focused and detailed professional capable of communicating ideas related to student personal development.
Essential Functions:

Candidate must be aware of health hazards, risk taking and personal sensitivity in situations requiring integrity, decency and professional growth. Sound decision-making on matters of professional ethical behavior is a must.
Minimum Education/Experience:
Associate degree or two-year technical certificate
Candidate must have 2 years of experience in an occupational therapy clinical setting.
