The MRI Adjunct Faculty will be responsible for conducting class in the lab setting, visiting students in the clinical setting, providing remediation to students and maintains communication with the faculty and program director.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of the MRI program goals and objectives. Knowledge of the course material as present in course text. Knowledge of procedures, protocols and practices relating to MRI
Capable of manipulating MR equipment and accessories to produce diagnostic images. Capable of working effectively with students
Ability to be organized, punctual and professional. Effectively communicates with students and peers.
Essential Functions:
Provides supervision and remediation to enrolled students in the MRI lab setting
Evaluates student progress and communicates such with program faculty
Monitors the lab facilities to ensure student compliance with departmental procedures
Maintains the lab facilities regarding organization, cleanliness, supplies, etc
Completes projects that support the Medical Imaging Department as assigned by the Department Chair / Assistant Chair

Minimum Education/Experience:
Associate degree or two-year technical certificate
Documents the equivalent of two years full-time clinical experience in MR. Experience in teaching preferred.
