Tool Room Assistants at Transportation Technology work to maintain a safe and organized area to support Students needing to use tools for classroom projects. Student Employees selected as Tool Room Assistants have multiple tasks during each work shift.

Essential Functions:

· Use a computer system to sign tools in and out for Student use on projects

· Clean tools as needed

· Clean Tool Room areas, especially the window table

· Organize tools according to proper locations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Organization

· Communication

· Basic computer skills

· Customer service

· Able to learn names of tools

Other Characteristics:

· Dependable, punctual, friendly

Minimum Education / Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent
