We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to join our team on Night Shift. As a Parts Coordinator you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department by providing accurate and timely support to our employees. Your responsibilities will include transferring parts between locations, issuing parts to internal customers, maintaining work orders and managing inventory. Additionally, you will be responsible for answering inquiries via telephone, and two-way radio, operating a forklift when necessary, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • Transfer parts to other locations or pick up parts from outside vendors as needed.
  • Issue parts to internal customers and meticulously maintain work orders.
  • Stock incoming parts and diligently verify inventory accuracy.
  • Answer the telephone and utilize a two-way radio for effective communication.
  • Operate a forklift with precision and safety as required.
  • Operate an overhead hoist with precision and safety as required.
  • Tackle all other tasks as assigned with enthusiasm and dedication.

Qualifications

What We Look For

  • Proven experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift operation certification preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Prior shipping and receiving experience
  • SAP Software knowledge
