Position Summary
Inspects, maintains, and repairs Metzgers buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment. Performs routine building maintenance tasks and general ground cleaning/maintenance.

Inspects, maintains, and repairs Metzgers buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment. Performs routine building maintenance tasks and general ground cleaning/maintenance.
Responsibilities include
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, developing effective solutions to restore functionality
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, identifying potential hazards and maintenance needs
- Performing minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures.
- Performing minor plumbing maintenance.
- Performing minor painting, carpentry and masonry work
- Ordering parts and maintaining required documents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ working experience in facilities maintenance.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
- Able to comprehend and apply basic mathematical principles and use a calculator and technology to the degree required to perform the job.
- Ability to read and interpret documents (such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals).
- Works with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's license and the ability to drive box truck.
