Metzgers is looking for a Bindery Operator to join our Off-Set Production team in our Toledo, OH office. You will assist in the successful execution of ensuring high quality, finished print products.
Here is what you will get to do:
- Operate various types of binderies and finishing equipment including but not limited to folder/cutter, stitching-trimmer, dye-cutter and gluer/folder.
- Collating, inserting, assembling, wrapping, shrink-wrapping, and packaging.
- Check proofs/samples to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Remove, stack and pack printed material.
- Review and prioritize work to be produced, in consultation with the customer service team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will need to be successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years industry experience operating machine equipment preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude ability
- Ability to troubleshoot, read and understand basic mathematical principles.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
