Metzgers is looking for a Warehouse Fulfillment Associate to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role will include the assembly, packing and preparation of orders for shipment.
Here's what you'll get to do:
- Follow Metzgers safety policies and procedures and encourage other Team Members to do the same.
- Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members in order to complete tasks under little supervision.
- Consult order forms daily to pick appropriate product for each order in a timely and accurate manner.
- Pack orders properly for shipment and manage daily flow of finished products.
- Provide high level of customer service when interacting with internal and external customers.
- Confirm availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
- Manually handle, repack, and restack pallets of finished product as needed.
- Operate forklift as needed.
What you'll need to be successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years' of experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 lbs. frequently, up to 70 lbs occasionally.
