Summary:

Under the direction and supervision of a radiologist/physician, performs all general radiographic examinations as required.

Observes all radiation safety guidelines and performs any other duties which assist in the provision of quality patient care according to the mission and values of the health center.

EDUCATION:

· ARRT registered, with previous experience preferred.

· Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist

· Basic CPR annually

· ACLS preferred

EXPERIENCE:

· 2 years of general radiography preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Broad Range of Technical Skills
  • Has fairly detailed level of knowledge of a specific area
  • Gathers, organizes, verifies, and analyzes data in the completion of multi-step procedures
  • Produces final output within established standards
  • Operates complicated equipment
  • Performs a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures that create the images needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
  • Applies the art and skill of diagnostic radiography in direct patient care through the safe and effective use of radiography practice.
