Step into a role where every day is a new chance to connect, sell, and shine!RESPONSIBILITIES Welcome customers by greeting them and offering assistanceStock shelves with company product, check in outside vendor merchandise as it arrivesDirect customers by escorting them to racks and counters, suggesting itemsAdvise customers by providing information on productsHelp customers make selections by building customer confidence: offering suggestions and opinionsDocument sales by creating or updating customer profile records, if applicableProcess payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash and store or other credit cardsKeep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interestGeneral housekeeping including cleaning the break room and employee restrooms REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED requiredStrong customer service skillsRetail experience, preferredExcellent verbal communication skillsStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsStrong sense of urgency to meet deadlinesGeneral math skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers to operate office tools and sampling equipmentFrequent speaking/listening in face-to-face and/or telephone conversationsOccasional standing/walking in both office and factory environmentsOccasional reaching above shoulders, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS Take Control: ask for the direction and support you need to attain mastery of your objectives and ownership of your professional development.Be Engaged & Committed: lean in to learn, engage, and contribute, resulting in increased performance and personal satisfaction from your work.
